ARIKERE  is a small village. It is situated 6km away from chickballapur.It is located near the Sri Jalari Lakshmi narsimhaswamy temple and surrounded by kauravara hill.The  population of this village is 646 out of  which male population is 326 while female is 320.Literacy rate of this village  is too least  48 % .This village has 164 houses but  no  transport facility  so, students of this village not complete the higher education.There is a govt lower primary school in this village nearly 25 students are learning here.

In this centre 10th STD students also learning and getting good marks in the public examination. Now they are studying good courses in top colleges . To this centre often and often our CAO sir, headmaster,and supervisor visiting and giving the suggestions to develop the centre. Nowever days children are learning with great enthusiasm and developing their learning aspects. Local leaders and parents are encouraging the centre they also appreciating and getting good opinion related to the centre and Sri mutt .
